I purchased the tickets for my musically inclined boyfriend's birthday, expecting a musical performance with interesting colorful lighting and effects. Instead, I got a Nickelodeon style performance catered to children. Embarrassed, I was about the moments where they were actually playing the instruments, blocked by larger than life cell phones describing cheesy dance moves or staged pranks on the audience. The "gross out" humor and long drawn out skits could have been done without. We made the best of it and had a few laughs, but it was not what I expected at all. Was this show supposed to be cutting edge?
